ACA's Proactive Approach

The ACA approach is to solve the Equipment Reliability problem by converting from a reactive to a proactive program. This is accomplished by a unique balance of specialized consulting initiatives and technology solutions. The first step is to identify the current state of the program by assessing the processes, data and technology.

Identifying the "symptoms" of an ineffective reliability program is a top priority. Symptoms, however, are illusions. Fixing symptoms is expensive, will never address the cause, and will only create more symptoms. Shifting the financial and personnel allocations from fixing "symptoms" to addressing the "causes" will have an immediate impact on the reliability program.
